Made these during the last week too.
I think it is a fantastic use of the coarse yarn I mistakenly bought. Gonna make many more, in all the colours that I have.
I even found that it is perfect to prevent any water condensation from cold glass from ever reaching the table.
Just as a comparison... The size is really almost the same as the CD.
This one is a mistake. I tried to add a stitch to the beginning round and it won't lay flat. It has been unravelled. Just shows how much difference one can make.
