I once told my aunt that if there's any craft I won't try, it'll be embroidery. I mean, I've made a quilt, I've cross-stitched, I've made greeting cards, I've crocheted, etc etc etc but embroidery, no way. Cos I thought, I'm not the kind of person to have such patience to sew such meticulous things!
But I have been reading plenty of craft blogs, and some of them features some beautiful embroideries.... The point is, I got tempted.
So here it is, my first embroidery:
Now, the only thing I've not tried is knitting. Yup. I don't know how to knit.... yet.

That is beautiful. Love to see your first knitting attempt, will be awesome
That's very nice, I can't believe it is your first attempt. You are a natural.

Cute Bear! Have you thought about putting dried lavender inside? You could pop him in your clothes draw or add a loop and hang it on a clothes hanger to prevent moths.
it rocks. you rock. keep it up. - J
Thank you miss376, Vicki, and Jess!
I'm planning to search for and watch some knitting tutorial videos once I got the time. Obviously I'll need to buy some knitting needles first too.
If you see closely, the embroidery is not that perfect yet. I still need a lot of practice.
Dried lavender! That's a great idea! I'll seriously consider it when I found where I can buy some of those over here.
Thanks again!
aihhhh lucu banget....sulam di badan bear lage... aku belon pernah coba lohhh... bagus mba...salutt
Hai... fun.
Ceritanya waktu itu aku udah pernah bikin bear yg ini, tapi warna biru. Trus aku pikir kok plain banget, boring gitu. Jadi iseng2 coba blajar nyulam, biar lebih seru gitu. Hehehe
Well, I've made a similar bear before, only blue. And I thought it's so plain and boring, hence I learned how to embroider, just to make things more interesting.
We can never have too many skills!!
