Red Hyperbolic Green Pencil Cover

I'm not good at making up names don't I? They're all just a description of the object.

Anyway, check out my new creation: a pencil cover! And being lazy me, I didn't want to make a flower or anything complex. So what did I do? I did hyperbolic. Yey! Hyperbolic is so easy and beautiful too! I'm totally in love with hyperbolic crocheting.

I even made a CAP for the pencil. So that it won't dirty my bag/pencil case.

So what do you think?

Hi Melisa,

I think it's a brilliant idea of covering the pencil. I also don't like my pencil to dirty my pencil case! That's why many of us now use mechanical pencils instead. But I still like to use a pencil.

Hi Melissa,
I really like this pencil holder, but knowing me, I would probably lose it, and be very upset. I am always losing pencils. Maybe if it did have a cover I wouldn't though. :)

Anyways, it is a very pretty cover!

Hi Eunice, Vicki, Skye!

I usually use mechanical pencil too.. So, most probably this pencil will just sit on my table looking pretty.

Well Skye, maybe you should get a pencil case too to keep it. lol

I would like to make one of these. Could you post the pattern you used or a link to where you found the pattern?
