Never Again

That's right. I'll never overestimate myself ever again. I am NOT capable of marathon sewing. And sewing from night till dawn is really not an option anymore.

As you can see, the result is not perfect. And I really don't like it. Cos I am a perfectionist.

From now on, I'll only make maximum one a day. Or even make one in two days.
The best products come from slow and relaxed sessions.

I haven't slept in a week, trying to finish this 'my first ever big order'. It was a total nightmare.

Packed and all ready to go.

Hmmm Melisa,

You're the best to make the decisions because you are the person in the driver's seat of the business.

But that is what business is all about. You will learn as you go along.

Hopefully, from this episode, you will develop contingency plans to support whenever you receive large orders because you should not restrict your potential growth by whatever is limiting your productivity.

Just my two cents if you can find some wisdom in it.

Cheers!

Damn, I hate how I could syndicate your journal into mine but I STILL can't comment directly from there.

I've been keeping up with your posts though. And holy cow, I can't believe you did so many orders all by yourself. Great job for getting it done, they all look good too. How much time did you have to complete the order?

Hi Windmill!
Nice to see u back!

Yes, I've made a bad decision, and I should have learnt my lesson from this.

I am thinking of what contigency plans I can do, but not sure of what I can implement at this point in time.

Thank you for the feedback!

Hi Nad!

Glad to know you've been following my posts, and I'm happy to see a comment from u!
I've only been glancing your blog though, since I can't subscribe to it due to the password limitation.
Mostly cosplay stuff I don't really understand too. T.T

Anyway, I did them all in one week.

Yup, a personal record for me.

Thanks!

WOW! That's a ton of work! You deserve a pat on the back... After a rest.

They are adorable though. :)

What a fantastic job you did. I think I'd have gone nuts, then started having dreams about them, and then found myself needing to go on anxiety meds.

Glad you finished them and got the order out!

Hi Lenni & John!

Thanks for the comments!
I'm glad it turns out quite okay, even though I rushed them.
And yep, I'm really glad I finished them on time.
Saves my 'good' name.
I was worried that if I flopped this one, I'm going to lose my credibility in front of the customers.
