So I have another request from a client, this time for a Three-Tier White Wedding Cake.
Yey!
First attempt: (Hmmm....?)
Second attempt: (Yes I know it is not straight, will do better next time.)
Third attempt, first layer: (Looking quite good? My first 3D attempt too!)
Third attempt, second layer: (Whoa?????? What happened?)
Actually I intended to make the three layers in different sizes then stack them together, but it seems that I'm not really experienced in making 3D stuff... It is harder to stitch than the 2D kinds.. Cos I have to use whip stitch instead of blanket stitch...
Anyway, I made them in half-circles because they're meant to be brooches.
Even then, they still seem too big to wear.... Don't think the people will appreciate something this bulky protruding out of their chests... lol ;p
I'm currently running out of ideas too...
This is the first time I've made more than one try for a pattern... Must be the reason why there's no pattern of such a thing that I can find anywhere on the internet.... :(

Soalnya aku paling nggak disiplin waktu banget, sampe2 daftar kerjaannya panjang enggak selesai2.
hehehehe
hehe...aku juga pernah bikin boneka flanel yg 3D. Waktu itu yang kubikin boneka ayam dgn pattern dari buku ondori. Pas jahit sisi depannya sih ok. tapi pas sisi belakang, panjangnya jadi ga pas ^^;; paling susah tuh nyamain kerapatan jahitan untuk 3D project. Akhirnya kedua kalinya aku bikin ayam yg 2D aja daripada repot ^^;;
no idea what to advise you, except hang in there, the solution/inspiration will come ... :)
Thank you lynne! Thankfully, the client selected option number two, so I don't have to make another try out.
Ira, thank you juga comment-nya ya.
