I know I know... It's been two weeks since my last post. But I was working on this bag, other than simply watching DVDs whole day. I've finished about 6 movie series up till now. Crazy huh.
Anyway, what do you think of this bag?
At first, I just wanted to finish some leftover balls of yarn that I received from my aunt. And at the beginning, I wanted to make an A4-sized bag. But now that I ran out of red yarn and it turns out so great, I don't want to spoil it by adding other colours. So I'm leaving it be.
I mixed the red yarns with a brown thin yarn. Hence the shadowy effect. For the bottom, I mixed a thin red yarn with the brown. Yup, I totally love how it turns out.
One thing for sure, I am not ever gonna work with that kind of yarn anymore. True, the bag is really really solid, and quite heavy too. But the yarn is too hard and coarse and I don't want to hurt my shoulder anymore than it already is.
It's not finished though. I still need to add a handle to it. Can't decide whether to add two handles at both sides or just one handle from the corners. I'm quite lazy to attach zippers too. Or maybe I should just make a flap to close? With a big button? Or simply just sew on zippers without handles? Suggestions please....??

Hi Melissa, if you still don't have any idea how to finish the bag, why don't you attach 2 handles on each side from leather and sew on zipper or big button in the middle. Hope it helps :)

But it seems that it's going to be quite a while until I really finish this bag. For one thing, I am still looking for at least one big wooden button to match the bag. And there are just too many other things to do at the moment.
So... Let's just wait and see...
