New Material: Small Magnets

I got these magnets about a week ago. And I immediately put them into use with these two creations I've made not so long ago. I bought them mainly for this purpose actually.

So I'm sure you've seen this green cellphone case a while ago, when I was still confused about how to close the flap. Well now this problem is solved.
It's FABULOUS!

I even added a flower...

I've posted this before too. It was the square amigurumi tester I did, then was not sure what to do about. In the end I decided that it is to be a coin pouch, so I crocheted a short tunnel for the coins to get in and out. Turns out it looks like a snake charmer's basket. lol!
Or maybe a vase?

Insert a coin.

Half open.

Closed.

The magnet is useful for if you want to put the pouch in your bag. But if the pouch is only to be put on the table, the magnet is not necessary.

Either way, I think it is a unique thing with functionality. Don't you agree?

Very nice! That pouch is perfect! I can picture a bigger one to use instead of a glass jar or water jug.

Hi Lenni,
I wonder what use you have in mind for the glass jar/water jug substitute.

Putting loose change in it. ^_^

I do that all the time. I dump out all the change in my wallet in to a jar, and when it's full, put it in my savings account. You'd be surprised how quick it adds up.

Lol! I dump all my loose change at home the moment I got home too! They're just too heavy to carry around everywhere.
I put them in a can though.
Have u seen the Chocolate Strawberry Ice Cream Cake I've made?

WOW! Now that's an excellent idea! :D
You could call it your "yummy money" can! :D

lol, I've never thought of giving it a name. Nice suggestion!
